A truly paperless practice

In March 2007 we were approached by Adrian Lower, a Harley Street Gynaecologist with a vision for a new practice.

No paper notes in the practice

The product

In May 2007 we installed Emma for Mr Lower in combination with a dual scanning setup and an Asterisk based VoIP phone system.

Mr Lower wanted to use Macs for cosmetic reasons so we were able to source wireless headsets combined with a software phone that was Mac compatible. Emma of course worked immediately and by using our Digital Vault system, Mr Lower's team have scanned in 30,000 pages of notes in under a month which Mr Lower can view securely and remotely from anywhere in the world through a web browser.

We were able to replicate his existing paper system by categorising scans into bundles and files within folders so each page is easy to find as well as being easy and clear to browse.
