General Medical Clinics PLC is a well-established provider of primary care in the City of London specialising in providing general practice, health screening services, occupational health programmes, physiotherapy, and nurse-led functions such as travel vaccinations.
 

The brief for their practice management system:

• 3 City based clinics with corporate in house clinics throughout the city
• Hundreds of corporate contracts, each with varying requirements
• Online booking for Healthscreens, Physiotherapy and GP/Nurse appointments with varying eligibility
• Email & SMS reminders
• Monthly corporate billing
• Insurance company direct billing
• Central management & reporting of all centres

In March 2007 we were approached by Adrian Lower, a Harley Street Gynaecologist with a vision for a new practice.

Baby Premier is the obstetric and gynaecological division of the Medical Ultrasound Company Specialist Medical Imaging Ltd., with centres throughout the UK and at its head office in Altrincham, Cheshire. Baby Premier is not just a 4D studio. It is an accredited ultrasound service that offers a full range of obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations to both self-funding and privately insured patients.

The brief for their Practice Management System:

• A call centre type operation with clinics nationwide and a central booking line
• Email confirmations with detailed instructions relating to each scan
• Billing and invoicing
• Remote access from clinics and trade shows

Sports & Spinal Clinics Ltd was founded back in 1984 with one simple vision - to provide first class, second to none specialist physiotherapy care.

They approached us in 2004 to create a VPN to link their practices so their old bookings system would allow them to cross book. The VPN worked perfectly (and still does incidentally!), but the bookings system didn't quite work as planned. Patients would appear in the other centre's diary with a new patient ID, and no billing information! Suddenly there would be 2 patients with the same name and each with a different account.

3 months later, Emma was put in.
