The Tasks manager is exactly what it sounds like - a way of tracking and managing Tasks.

The clever bit is that it is tied into the patient, contracts and company database. This means that if you wish to record that a patient called and needs phoning back, all you need do is to record the event in the client log with a follow up date and Emma will remind you with a task.

Similarly, if you want to tag all New patients with an automatic 3 week follow up phone call to ensure they're happy, but only if they're from a big new client, then simply assign a Follow-up rule to that client's New Patient appointments and the tasks will appear automatically.

Tasks can be reassigned automatically or directly assigned to someone else if you're away (or even if you're not) and you can create or delegate tasks for other people.

The Tasks Manager is one of the latest features of Emma that allows distributed companies in multiple locations communicate and work together better.
