Patient online bookings |

The best thing about having an entirely web based system is that your
patients can get as much access as you want. Now obviously, you don't
want them to be able to see all your diary and book that last slot on a
Friday evening when you're empty the rest of the day, but at the same
time you really don't want them to fill in a form that just sends you
an email that you have to deal with later, which just ends up in a
phone call anyway and takes the patient twice as long and saves you no
time whatsoever. What would be good though would be if they had some way of saying 'I'd like to see a male doctor some time between these dates in this location' and have the system instantly respond with a selection of appointments that suited both of you. They could then choose one from the list and instantly it would appear in your diary, they would get a confirmation email, and then a follow up sms at 24hrs before the appointment. This is why we have our search engine No involvement from the receptionist, and the patient feels in control. They can even cancel and move their appointments so long as it's more than 48 hours in advance of their appointment. Online appointments even show up in pink in the diary so your staff know as soon as they're booked. ![]() Classes can also be booked online in a similar way. Just choose which days of the week are convenient for you, for how many weeks you would like to come and where to and push search. The number of spaces available in each class is instantly shown. 15 weeks of tri-weekly classes can be booked in as little as 2 minutes. Imagine how long that would take on the phone. It doesn't matter whether you're booking a 15 minute follow up or a health screen. The procedure is exactly the same and all the complexity of the multi-part appointment is hidden from the patient. They just get told when to turn up where. Case Study |
