Renaming of Products |

Notes on renaming products:
Renaming a product will change all the existing charges of that type on the system, because they just look up the product to get the name. This is also true of invoices. Thus renaming should only be done to correct things like spelling mistakes. If, say, you switch from one brand of generic drug to another, a new product should be set up. Similarly, if your marketing people want to rename the "New Patient" appointment to "Super-Duper Value Health Checkup", a new product should be created to preserve the historic data. |
