Product sets are used for defining limits on what patients can have in a given period of time.
To create a product set, first select the products you wish to put in it.

1) Go to Products, and click on the products you wish to put into the group, clicking Add to Selection on each one
2) Go to Product Sets and create a new Product Set if you need one
3) Select your product Set and click 'Add products' Put in a date if you wish this to happen in the future.
4) Having created your Product Set, you are now ready to use it in a contract. Select the Product Set and click 'Add to Selection'. Remember to clear any previous products you had in your selection.
5) Go to the contract you wish to use and click 'Available Product Sets' and Add Product Set on the right hand side.
6) Click on the Product Set you have just added and apply a Limit policy

-- A limit policy allows you to apply a limit of a certain number of products from within that set within a certain rolling time period --

7) Set the time limit you wish to use in months, and specify how many products from the set you wish the patient to have. Eg: In an annual health screen contract, you may have 12 and 1 in these boxes. These can also depend on age, sex and eligibility level.

The limits will be applied automatically and the user will know when the limit has been attained by the specified appointment type appearing in red in the appointment type dropdown box.
