How to create a new product

1) Proceed to the Management -> Products area and expand the Products folder.

NB:If you are creating a new appointment, you should first create the appointment type, then return to the Products area if you wish to give it a short code for charging purposes. If not, then you should proceed to the contracts area.

2) Open the Product group in which you wish to create your product. If you wish to create a new product group, enter the name of the Product Group on the right hand side of the screen and press Create.

NB: The restricted option is to prevent anyone but Super Administrator (Access Level 1) from accessing the product. Most products will not require this restriction.

3) Having selected the group you wish to use, you can then enter the name of the product on the right hand side of the screen and press 'Create'.

NB: By default, products are not given an expiry date. If you wish a product to expire, you may now reselect it from the list and enter an expiry date and time on the right hand side.

The product is now created. All that remains is to give it a price to make it available for sale.
